I have lived in Yosemite National Park for twenty-five years. The concept of the landscape became apparent to me after my first wilderness experience when I was twelve years old. To better understand the natural world, I earned an MS degree in Biology from Idaho State University. I started photography when I was twelve years old, where I learned to make my prints in the darkroom. Later, I started looking at fine art prints from photographers represented at the Ansel Adams Gallery. I discovered digital photography by taking workshops and assisting. I have led camera walks and guided for the Ansel Adams Gallery.
My work has appeared at the Ansel Adams Gallery, Yosemite Renaissance XXV, XXVI, XXVIII, El Portal Art on the River, Yosemite National Park, and Yosemite Conservancy.
